Who are you calling, Zach?
It's another typical evening, after dinner, and Zach zips around the living room, in search of entertainment. He spies his Thomas the Engine toy handphone, picks it up, and decides to make an imaginary phone call.
Zach: (holding the phone to his ear)
"Hello, hello?"
"弟弟, 你打给谁啊?" ("Who are you calling?")
Zach grins but does not reply.
Me, prompting him:"是不是打给 Daddy, Mummy?" (Are you calling your dad and mum?")
Zach: "我打Oppice!" (His 20-mth old way of saying, "I'm calling the office.")
Me (amazed and amused): "哇! 你有office 啊!" ("Wow, you have an office?!")
Zach : "是!" ("Yes!")
Me, Thomas, and Grandma: (^_^)''
